  • 1986-1987, visiting professor in Pittsburgh and teacher, Summer School for Postgraduates, in Princeton University (also resident scholar there 2003-2004),
  • 1988, archaeological work in Jordan and Israel;
  • 1988-1989, substitute professor in Biblical studies-New Testament, University of Tübingen (also study stay there in framework of Humboldt Prize, 1995-1996 and 1999);
  • 1993, DrSc. (Greek literature)
